The Minority Business Association-Center for Joint Ventures, Inc. welcomes you to our Workforce Development page.  For decades, the MBA has mentored small businesses in the Bridgeport area. Feel free to go to our website at MBA-CJV.org for our history and mission.  Thanks to the City of Bridgeport and the American Rescue Act, we were awarded a three-year grant to enhance and expand assisting small businesses who were negatively impacted by the pandemic through mentoring, training and workshops. The MBA will now be able to help individuals as well.      In addition to our workshops and training we will blog you at least once a month to make sure you know what resources are available to you. You are the driving force of our work.  What will strengthen you?  What are you interested in finding out? In order for us to assist you, you have to sign up and qualify for our program.  Just fill out our application sheet.  To qualify as a business, your business must be a small business located in Bridgeport, CT.  To qualify as an individual, you must be at least 18 years old and a Bridgeport resident.
